is making sure he is fed, watered, and let outside to potty, but have paid him no attention other than that. If interested,
call Linda at:: (541) 459-6280

March 13, 2006
Made proposal asking the city of Sutherlin if we could have the upper portion of Hartley park, above the parking lot, for
a fenced in, off-leash dog park. The city council heard us out, and also, Dr. Kadas was there to support us, who owns the
property next to Hartley. He voiced to the city council that he thought the park would be a good idea and maybe due to it,
Hartley park could be cleaned up and made useful. Rick Tabor, a council member, suggested that we go back to the park's advisory
committee with this proposal and he would be sure that we were on their agenda at the next meeting. We learned and were assured
at this council meeting that Hartley park was not, at this time, up for sale. New supporter for the park is Dr. Mary Herrera,
our Sutherlin vet. She made this known by letter to the city council. Next steering committee meeting is on April 3rd, at
Apple Peddler, at 5:30 pm.
